Our vision
The Dreifaltigkeitskirche (DFK) should develop into an energetic place in the district for people, clubs and associations, politics and economy, with space for encounters, commitment and creativity. The unusual architecture of the church building offers a field of experimentation for diverse, individual and exciting uses.
The versatile and multifunctional church building is complemented by an ensemble of buildings around the church, in which a day-care center with a family center, a family counseling center, training rooms, e.g. for language and integration courses, further and advanced training measures and rooms for encounters and discussions will be created.

With our “Trinity Church of the Future” project, we are one of eight model projects for the conversion of church buildings as part of the “Future - Churches - Spaces” project. The project is a cooperation project between Baukultur Nordrhein-Westfalen, the Chamber of Architects in North Rhine-Westphalia and the Chamber of Engineers-Bau NRW with the participation of the (arch) dioceses and regional churches in North Rhine-Westphalia and with the support of the teaching and research area for real estate project development, Faculty of Architecture, RWTH Aachen University.
